After years of testing, our latest push camera skid is ready for work. Made from ABS, it's tough enough to use every day. Unlike traditional skids, our skid glides over obstructions instead of plowing through them. The shape serves several purposes, first it gets you off the bottom  and angles the camera slightly upward to include the entire pipe in frame. Second, by lifting the spring slightly, it reduces drag by an easy 50%. What does that mean to the operator? Less fatigue and more footage. Third, when pushing downhill, quite often all your gonna be doing is slowing it down. And lastly, the three channels let water pass through, so on the pull back, if there's a lot of water, the channels direct the flow around the lens. Let the other guys deal with rejected videos because of a fouled lens. No more tape! Our Skid locks into the spring with stainless steel set screws.
